Overview

The traveling stair climb pushup is an exercise that targets the abdominal muscles. To perform this exercise, you will need a sturdy surface to place your hands on, such as a step or a bench. Start in a pushup position with your hands shoulder-width apart and your feet together. Step your right foot forward and place it on the surface in front of you. Then, bend your elbows and lower your body until your chest is just above the surface. Straighten your arms and return to the starting position. Repeat this movement, alternating legs each time. You can make this exercise more challenging by adding weight to your back or by doing it on an unstable surface, such as a bosu ball.

These alternative exercises can be used as substitutes when the original exercise is unavailable or challenging to perform due to various reasons such as equipment limitations, injuries, or personal preferences.
