Overview

Band pullapart is an exercise that targets the chest muscles. It is performed by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and holding a resistance band in each hand. The bands should be held at shoulder height with your arms extended out to the sides. You then pull the bands apart until they are in front of you, squeezing your shoulder blades together at the top of the movement. The bands should then be slowly lowered back to the starting position. This exercise can be performed for 3 sets of 10 repetitions.
