Overview

The chest bench pushup is an exercise that targets the chest muscles. It is performed by lying face down on a bench with your feet flat on the floor and your arms extended so that your body forms a straight line from your head to your heels. You then bend your elbows and lower your body until your chest almost touches the bench, then push back up to the starting position. This exercise can be performed with or without weights.
