Overview

The chest incline barbell bench press is an exercise targeting the chest muscles, particularly the pectoralis major and minor. It is performed by lying on an incline bench with your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent. You then hold a barbell at shoulder width with your palms facing up and lower it to your chest until your elbows are at a 90-degree angle. You then press the bar back up to the starting position. This exercise can be performed for a variety of repetitions and sets, depending on your fitness level and goals.
