Overview

The crossover with bands is an exercise that targets the chest muscles. To do this exercise, you will need two resistance bands, a bench, and a pair of dumbbells. Start by attaching the bands to the bottom of the bench and then step in between the bands so that they are around your ankles. Hold the dumbbells in your hands with your arms extended in front of you. Bend your knees slightly and then lean forward so that your torso is parallel to the floor. Pull the bands apart by extending your arms out to the sides until your hands are above your head. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat.

Variations

Variations of fitness exercises refer to different ways of performing a specific exercise or movement to target various muscle groups, intensities, or goals. These variations aim to challenge the body differently, prevent plateaus, and cater to individuals with varying fitness levels.

Alternatives

Alternative exercises in fitness refer to different movements or activities that target similar muscle groups or serve the same training purpose as the primary exercise. These alternative exercises can be used as substitutes when the original exercise is unavailable or challenging to perform due to various reasons such as equipment limitations, injuries, or personal preferences.
