Overview

The alien squat is an exercise that targets the quads. It is performed by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and your toes turned out slightly. Hold a dumbbell in each hand and extend your arms out in front of you at shoulder level. Bend your knees and lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Keep your chest up and your core engaged. Pause for a second at the bottom, then push through your heels to return to the starting position. Repeat for 8-12 repetitions.
