Overview

The square hop is a plyometric exercise that targets the quadriceps. To perform the square hop, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent. Jump up and to the right, landing with your feet shoulder-width apart. Immediately jump up and to the left, landing with your feet shoulder-width apart. Continue to jump up and to the right and left, alternating sides. Repeat for 10-12 repetitions. The square hop is a great exercise for improving explosive power and strengthening the quadriceps.
