Overview

The stair bear crawl is an exercise that targets the quads. To perform the stair bear crawl, start by standing at the bottom of a staircase. Place your hands on the next stair up and step forward with your right foot, so that your left foot is on the ground. Then, bring your left foot up to meet your right foot and step forward with your right foot again. Continue to climb the stairs in this manner, alternating which foot leads. As you climb, keep your core engaged and your back straight. The stair bear crawl is a challenging exercise that can help to build strength and definition in your quads.
