Overview

The dumbbell raise is an exercise targeting the shoulders, particularly the anterior deltoid. To perform the dumbbell raise, start with your arms extended overhead and your palms facing forward. Slowly lower the dumbbells down to shoulder level, keeping your elbows slightly bent. Pause for a second, then raise the dumbbells back to the starting position.
