Overview

The cable rope crossover seated row is an exercise targeting the upper back, particularly the latissimus dorsi. It is performed by sitting on a bench with your feet shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent. Grasp a cable rope with both hands and extend your arms out in front of you so that the ropes are parallel to the floor. Pull the ropes towards your chest until your elbows are at shoulder height, then slowly return to the starting position. This exercise can be performed for a variety of repetitions and sets, depending on your fitness level.
