Overview
The Smith bent over row is an exercise targeting the upper back, particularly the rhomboids and trapezius muscles. It is performed by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent. Bend over at the waist so that your torso is parallel to the floor and grasp the bar with an overhand grip, slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Pull the bar towards your chest, keeping your elbows close to your sides, and then slowly lower it back to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
