Overview

The straight plank with dirty dog is an exercise that targets the abdominal muscles, particularly the rectus abdominis or six-pack muscles. It is a challenging exercise that requires core strength and stability. To perform the straight plank with dirty dog, start by lying face down on the floor with your legs extended behind you and your arms extended in front of you. Your body should form a straight line from your head to your heels. Engage your core muscles and hold this position for as long as you can. Then, bring your right knee up to your chest and tap your right elbow to your left knee. Return to the starting position and repeat with your left knee. Continue alternating sides for as many repetitions as you can.
