Overview
The Romanian deadlift from deficit is an exercise that targets the hamstrings. It is performed by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and a barbell in front of you. Bend over and grab the bar with an overhand grip, just outside your knees. Keep your back straight and your core engaged as you push your hips back and lower the bar until it is just below your knees. Pause for a moment, then return to the starting position.

Alternatives

These alternative exercises can be used as substitutes when the original exercise is unavailable or challenging to perform due to various reasons such as equipment limitations, injuries, or personal preferences.
