Overview

DownwardFacing Dog Pose is a yoga pose that stretches the lower back, hamstrings, and shoulders. It is also known as. Adho Mukha Svanasana To do this pose, start on your hands and knees with your toes tucked under. Inhale and then straighten your legs, keeping your heels on the ground if possible. Your body should form an inverted V shape with your arms extended overhead and your palms flat on the ground. Hold the pose for 510 breaths, then release and come back to your hands and knees.
