Overview

The right split squat is an exercise that targets the quadriceps muscles on the right leg. It is performed by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, then stepping forward with your right leg and lowering your body until your left knee is almost touching the ground. You then push yourself back up to the starting position. This exercise can be performed with or without weights.
