Overview
The squat bottom position hold is an exercise that targets the quadriceps muscles. To do this exercise, you will need to stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your toes pointed slightly outwards. Hold a barbell across your shoulders with your hands shoulder-width apart. Slowly lower yourself down until your thighs are parallel to the ground, then hold the position for a few seconds. Return to the starting position and repeat. This exercise can be done for multiple sets of repetitions.
