Overview

Dumbbell Lying External Shoulder Rotation is an exercise targeting the shoulders. It is performed by lying on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with your arms extended straight out to the sides. Slowly rotate your arms up and out until they are parallel to the floor, then slowly return to the starting position. This exercise helps to strengthen the external rotators of the shoulder, which are the muscles that help to stabilize the shoulder joint.
