The Smith Standing Behind Head Military Press is an exercise that targets the shoulders. It is performed by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and your back against a Smith machine. You then grasp the bar with your hands shoulder-width apart and extend your arms overhead. Keeping your elbows locked, slowly lower the bar behind your head until it touches the back of your neck. Then, press the bar back up to the starting position. This exercise can be performed for multiple sets of 8-12 repetitions.
